Truly, you are the Man with the Golden Pun, Matt. A beautifully written post again this week, thank you for sharing your enthusiasm for this imminent addition to London 's historic estate.
A most tubular article. I searched You tube music for a piece entitled Holborn. There is a group called it but their music did not seem to match this theme. I did find this- https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=iTjX_UMgS5k&si=HjwNojvaDSPADz1b Holborn by Eric Coates. A very majestic feeling of Holborn which seemed to fit better. You are really getting to know all the in's and out's and underneath's of London. Which I love hearing all about.
An incredible piece, thanks Matt! Quivering with excitement already at the prospect of this amazing location on our doorstep in a few years time (with a lot of luck). Loving the spy-quips littered throughout, thoroughly enjoyed reading about this future attraction. As ever am left wondering, err with no hint of jealousy whatsoever, how you always get access to these fantastical hidden London gems😁💪🏼
Thank you! I'd love to tell you how I get access to all these places, but I'm not really sure myself. In some cases, it helps to have Londonist and Londonist: Time Machine to write for, because some of these places could use some publicity. But otherwise, it's a combo of being nice to the right people, showing an interest, sending the right emails, dropping the right hints in the right conversations, etc. I'm very lucky.

Love your assessment of the colour scheme in the bar. Spot on!

You lucky, lucky dog ;-)
Amazing insight and information about something we would never know otherwise! Thanks, Matt, Matt Brown…
Truly fascinating. I’ll be one of the first in the queue on Day One. I do love a good tunnel
Wow, I will keep this in mind for my next London visit!
Well, it won't be opening for at least two years... I suspect three or four.
You’re probably right, I think I can wait

Absolutely brilliant
Thanks, Matt. I really enjoyed the tunnels and all the museums inside. Time to watch bond movies! Roger Moore is my favourite bond.😊
