Fascinating, Matt. A bridge I crossed so many times in the past, never imagining its interior, or that there were literally some connections to remnants of the John Rennie bridge.
Thanks! I used my 'proper' camera for the first time in years, rather than rely on the smartphone (which is usually more than good enough for online photos). I'm glad I did because it was quite dark in places. That said, it took quite a battering while crawling through those gaps!
Just when you thought to have read everything about London there is to know, you've found a new 'discovery'. Amazing Matt.
Cheers David! It's really very little known... hardly any photos online before this point.
Utterly fascinating! Extra points for sneaking in a reference to the Death Star trench run! :)
What an adventure! I had no idea the bridge was hollow. Thank you for taking us to the London we don't even know exists.

Extraordinary stuff, Matt - great photos too. I will now think of this every time I walk over this bridge.

The river balcony caption is… on target.
Amazing. Lucky you.
